This week, I'm going to take you to Gaomei Wetlands, which is the countryside of Taichung and the place famous of its strong wind.
In the picture above, you can see that there's a bicycle lane which was built by Taichung government, in order to attract more tourists to go bike-riding and visit Gaomei Wetlands. In addition, the beautiful bridge in the middle of the picture was built two years ago. In fact, the only usage of the bridge is for the visitors to take photos on.
Also, there's a wooden path on the wetlands. People access to get close to the sea and sands while walking on the path. However, it has restricted hours. The wooden path is available on 2:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. every day. Don't forget the restricted hours when you visit here.
Gaomei Wetlands is also famous for the scenery of sunset. Standing on the wooden path, holding your lover's hand and watching the sun setting slowly to the horizon while the breeze whisking through your face are what couples looking forward to. Gaomei Wetlands will surely satisfy all of your image and it is the reason why Gaomei Wetlands is always full of couples during the weekends and holidays.
If you have a boyfriend or girlfriend or love sea and sands, Gaomei Wetlands is the place you should visit. Trust me, it is worth your visit!
It is a pity that people usually ignore the beauty surrounding them because of their fast-paced lives. Actually, I plan to go to Gaomei Wetlands in the coming summer vacation although I don’t have a girlfriend. lol Thanks for your introduction, I have to keep in mind that I should go there earlier to take a stroll.
回覆刪除Why not find a girlfriend before the summer vacation lol. It still has 3 months haha. Thanks for reading my blog and hope you will enjoy yourself at Gaomei Wetlands this summer!
刪除It seems that the wooden path is a good place to take photos, especially during sunset!
回覆刪除I like your description very much:"Standing on the wooden path, holding your lover's hand and watching the sun setting slowly to the horizon while the breeze whisking through your face...." There is a concrete image of this sentence as if it is a romantic scene in a movie. I will remember your suggestion and give it a try in the future if I successfully have a boyfriend.
By the way, are you going to introduce some other beautiful places in Taichung in the following articles? :)
True! The wooden path is really a good place to take photos.Although I don't have a girlfriend, I can still image the romantic scenes lol. And I will introduce some more places in Taichung in the following articles, don't forget to follow my blog:)
刪除This place is really a wonderful tourist attraction I think. I visited there one time during my high graduation trip. We see many small, lovely creatures like crabs inside the mud. Although the wind is truly strong in Gaomei Wetlands, I think the scenery there is worth paying a visit especially the sunset. In the future, if I have another chance to visit Taichung, I may be willing to visit Gaomei Wetlands again haha!!
回覆刪除Wow!Your high graduation trip is so special since other school's trips are often to Kenting or Taipei lol.Hope that you have "another chance" in the near future:)
刪除I can still remember how cold the day was when you took me there. The scenery of wind turbine generators and the ocean are very beautiful, we even had a great time with a stranger who were willing to take photos for us. I am looking forward having another trip with you!
回覆刪除The stranger is so cute that he helped us to take two pictures of different side lol. Next trip is Taipei, absolutely. Haha:)
刪除Although I am from Taichung,I haven't been to Gaomei Wetlands before. I have heard a lot of great reputations about the place and I always want to be there to see the beautiful scenes. And it will be great that someday you can take me to explore this wonderful land.
回覆刪除OK! Maybe we can plan to there this summer vacation after the FLLD camp lol.
刪除Wow, sounds wonderful. Where is the location. I wonder if Andy has the willing to bring me explore Gaomei Wetland. Has there any famous food or snack? I had heard about how Taiwan students study hard in high school. Well, that is a hard period, I just want to cheer up with you.
回覆刪除You know what if you are going to Taichung, just call me and I will show up right away. You can stay at my place if you want lol.
